Job Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn, grow, and have unforgettable summer experiences. This is a paid position.

Duties:

- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, including games, arts and crafts, sports, and nature exploration

- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times

- Supervise campers during meals, rest periods, and recreational activities

- Assist with the development and implementation of daily schedules

- Provide guidance and support to campers in building positive relationships with peers

- Foster a positive and inclusive camp culture

- Communicate effectively with campers, parents/guardians, and fellow staff members

- Maintain a clean and organized camp environment

Qualifications:

- Experience working with children in a camp, daycare, or educational setting

- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices

- Strong classroom management skills

- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs of individual campers

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
